Ogilvy has partnered with Spain's Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) to launch a powerful new awareness campaign that encourages drivers to consider the actual consequences of carelessness behind the wheel.

The campaign centres around the message, “In a traffic accident, you can die — or lose your life.” It emphasises that a crash not only puts your life at risk, but it can also rob you of your peace, your future, and the ability to live without regret.

The heart of the campaign tells the story of a person who, after causing an accident that resulted in two deaths, must confront the unbearable burden of guilt and emotional pain. This raw and deeply human portrayal serves as a reminder that surviving doesn't always equate to truly living — because when you are the cause, a part of you remains on that road.

Through this campaign, Ogilvy and the DGT go beyond traditional road safety messages to connect on an emotional level, turning reflection into prevention and awareness into action.
